FAQ

I've heard spin classes are intense; will I be able to handle it?

Our Tour Guides will challenge and inspire you, but ultimately it's YOU who decides how much resistance you are comfortable riding with. Need a break? Dial back your resistance, keep your legs moving, and join the class again when you can. Spin is low impact; it's easy on the joints and great for all fitness levels!

Do I need special shoes for spin?

We offer complimentary spin shoes to every rider. These ensure safety, comfort, and efficient peddling.

Have your own shoes? We use Look Keo pedals.

What happens when I get to the studio?

First, check in at the front desk. We will show you around the studio and get you set up on your bike or set up in the yoga/pilates room. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for your first class. In an effort to eliminate distractions and keep everyone safe, we do not allow latecomers into class.

Can I transfer classes to a friend?

Sorry, we do not allow transfers, but we do have a guest booking feature!

Can I attend classes while pregnant?

Spin, yoga, and pilates classes are excellent low-impact forms of exercise for pregnant women or those with injuries. In fact, many of our Tour Guides (instructors) taught spin well into their third trimesters! Of course, be sure to consult with your doctor first. We do not recommend that pregnant women take any of our hot classes.

Do I need to make a reservation in advance to attend class?

We recommend reserving your spot in advance, but we absolutely allow walk-ins provided there is still space in class.

Are there any age restrictions at Tour?

We welcome all participants ages 12 and up for our spin classes. For hot yoga/pilates, we allow ages 14+ to participate, and for reformer pilates, participants must be 16+. Anyone who is under 16 must have a parent/guardian present in class for any of our classes.
