FAQ

I've never cycled before, is that ok?

Absolutely! Although our classes are a great way for experienced cyclists to train, most people who enjoy spin classes never ride outdoors! We will get you safely set up on your bike and guide you from there!

I've heard spin classes are intense; will I be able to handle it?

Our Tour Guides will challenge and inspire you, but ultimately it's YOU who decides how much resistance you are comfortable riding with. Need a break? Dial back your resistance, keep your legs moving, and join the class again when you can. Indoor cycling is low impact; it's easy on the joints and great for all fitness levels!

Do I need special shoes?

We offer complimentary cycling shoes to every rider. Cycling shoes ensure safety, comfort, and efficient peddling.

Have your own shoes? We use Look Keo pedals.

What happens when I get to the studio?

First, check in at the front desk. We will hook you up with some shoes, show you around the studio, and get you set up on your bike. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to allow for shoe sizing and bike setup.

Can I transfer classes to a friend?

Sorry, we do not allow transfers.

Can I attend classes while pregnant?

Spin classes are an excellent low-impact form of exercise for pregnant women or those with injuries. In fact, four of our Tour Guides (instructors) taught spin well into their third trimesters! Of course, be sure to consult with your doctor first. We do not recommend that pregnant women take our hot yoga classes.

Do I need to make a reservation in advance to attend class?

We recommend reserving your spot in advance, but we absolutely allow walk-ins provided there is still space in class.

Are there any age restrictions at Tour?

We welcome all participants ages 12 and up!
